I never knew that one of the stories that basically shaped my childhood came from such a heavy emotionally wrecking place.

But not for this one. An undeniable iconic and timeless classic, I kind of regret the fact that I only finally watched it (and paid attention) just now.

If you were to ask me if 2018 is saved, I would probably say yes right at this moment. With thirteen undeniably good looking and talented boys, CECI (might've definitely) saved 2018 with their first cover for the year.

As I free up my shelf space from traces of a group I once loved, I thought I'm going to be done with anything that has something to do with official merch, let alone another calendar. But I guess the universe has other plans for me.

A charming adult fairytale that gave me a sense of visual satisfaction (and also leveled up my horticultural fantasies), This Beautiful Fantastic was just the right amount of heartwarming and whimsical bits that I need in a story.

Unearthly yet human in a sense, Midnight Special tagged me along in journey filled with tension only to end up in a vague and obscure destination.

A classic film that is a good watch on a cold Sunday night with a cup of hot chocolate. Sabrina was delightful in some aspects and a bit lacking in most, at least the cup of hot chocolate helps.

A mixed bag of everything sweet and everything absurd. This short eight-part black romance-comedy-drama was a fun and at the same time disturbing, solid binge watch in my book.

Sad, yet sweet and tender. I low-key hate myself for only watching this now. Inside Llewyn Davis unexpectedly touched my heart, in a way I can't put into words.

Tried to be quirky, a bit confused of what it wants, and a waste of time. Table 19 just so proves that sometimes... the trailer really is better than the actual movie.

Bloody, petty, and cluttered. This unnecessarily long(2 hours!) blood fest paired with a very dense plot and character motivation. Definitely not the Samurai movie I wanted it to be.

Simple, precious, and somewhat poetic without being too full of itself - Paterson as my first film for the year 2018, and I really enjoyed it.
