Macau Travel Diary 2014 - Day 2 - Macau Tower, MGM Hotel, and The Venetian

Day 2, and we found ourselves in another Mainland territory, Macau.
We rode the Cotai Water Jet to reach Macau. A fancy ferry with a train-like exterior. I actually slept during the whole journey so I can't really say much about it. But look who is on the cover of the Cotai Style magazine! The People's Champ himself!
We basically toured around inside a bus. Looking at buildings, mostly. But I'd have to be honest, I love Macau more than Hong Kong. It's a lot cleaner and less chaotic. But according to our tour guide the pollution level in Macau is even higher than in Hong Kong.
Sadly, since we were riding the bus most of the time, the streets that I saw and wanted to walk on was inaccessible. There were alot of pretty alleys in Macau that reminded me of Europe, especially the cobblestones. Next time, I guess? Or not.
On to my favorite stop in Macau, the MGM Hotel. Can you tell why I loved this stop so much?
No it's not because of Mario... but because of my friends at the back.
The MGM Hotel had this big, blue, and pretty aquarium in the middle of it's lobby/reception area. You have no idea how much I wanted to cry whilst being beside the that big, blue piece of the sea. It felt so magical. I almost forgot than I'm a 20+ year old adult. Yes.
My photos in the MGM hotel would probably be my most decent out of all the sets I've had within our stay in Hong Kong. So yeah... great job, Laline.
Last on our stop is the well known luxury hotel and casino resort loved by most Korean dramas(remember Boys Over Flowers and Fated to Love You?), The Venetian Macau.
Thinking about it now, Macau was such a delight. Even if the noted tourist spots were packed with people, it was escape from the chaos that is Hong Kong.
P.S. I miss my little clingy aquarium fish friend. D:
