A Day in Songdo - Out of Seoul Diary: Day 4
Monday, November 24, 2014November 2, 2014
I must thank the people who queued for that Sunday's Inkigayo, for discouraging Mona and I. For if not, we won't be spending 2+ hours in a train heading out of Seoul towards Incheon. It was a sudden decision, but the both of us really wanted this to happen anyway.
With a bit of a mishap, we then found ourselves in the Song Triplets' turf, the Songdo International Business District.
Greeted by the wild gust of wind, we found ourselves in pure amazement. Both of us were in awe. We never really thought we'll literally be there. Like... there, in Songdo, where we see the twins and Song Il Gook biking around with their signature wagon and all that.
It was different. It was a place wherein everyone is a family. Where children just freely runs around. Old people actively power walking. A place where a Segways are a familiar form of transportation for children. And there's this super cute nook wherein children can just read and return books!
Mona and I were on our alert mode in spotting the beloved triplets, but at the end of the day, even if we weren't able to actually see them, it turned out to be great.
Songdo's Central Park was such a fascinating place. I was too into breathing in the whole energy of the place, I regretfully wasn't able to take pictures of most of the things to see. Everyone seemed so nice and active in life, it is such an ideal place to have a family.
