What better way to end the 2014 than with a big box all the way from the land of the rising sun! I actually can't believe it myself. I was expecting to get this bad boy after the holidays, or worse pick it up in the main post office. But here am, bewildered and in shock to receive this via post earlier than expected. PhilPost, congratulations... you are doing something right.

Some things just fill your heart without trying, you know. And these little cutiepatootie friends showed that to me.

You could call me crazy, but I don't care. It's been a year since that fated day. 365 days had passed, and yet here I am still stuck with that same smile that one person gave me.

Laugh if you must, but I guess it can't be helped. It was someone's 23rd that day, and I am glad I spent it with the right people, conversations with a whole lot of loving, and good food.

As I ponder about the things that I should say in this entry, I found myself frustratingly blank and confused. Am I really doing this? Am I really going to type down these thoughts inside my head? Am I really, seriously okay with this?
It's been more than 50 weeks since he came into my life. Thinking that he is yet again another boy who will just pass me by, I(emphasis on "I") clearly am not informed of the consequences that follow.
It's not like I was falling, it felt more like as if I was climbing down slowly. Slowly going down with doubts, fear, occasional emotional breakdowns, breathlessness, and endless amount of bliss.

It may be too cliche to say that he felt so different. But he is... different.
You could say that I'm being delusional. You could say that I am just desperate for something I cannot have. Or I'm just thinking of things, but please... just this once, let me be.
For he who brought not only happiness in my life, numerous tearful, and untimely emotional breakouts, strength to hold on to in times of stress. He also gave way for me to meet people who I could really turn to.
The person who made me question the universe. A solid record of such perfect timing.
The one who changed everything with just one look. So close yet so far. A dangerous thing, yet so lovely. which forever be kept inside my head and my heart.
And as he celebrates his special day, with the people who makes him smile, a phone call with his mom for an hour or two. You deserve all the good things in the world. You deserve all the love. Happy Birthday, you.

Mona and I referred to it as the Garosu-gil of the hills. Visit Korea dubbed it as a place "Where tradition and Modern Artistic Sensibilities Meet".
November 1, 2014 & November 5, 2014
It reminded me of home. You know, that warmth you feel when you have your loved ones around. I loved this place so much, it deserves to be visited twice(or hopefully, even more in the future).
November 1, 2014
Known for it's magnificent looking tree-lined streets, hip culture, and energy, Garosu-gil was such an experience.

As I walk on the streets filled with crunchy autumn leaves, I found myself in such a bliss. Never have I ever loved such a season. Never have I ever thought I’ll get to breath in autumn in person.
Then, there it was. It was round, yellow, and floating.
I saw it from afar, and boy… if only I could run and hug it
so tight, I would.
The Rubber Duck knows no frontiers, it doesn't discriminate
people and doesn't have a political connotation. The friendly, floating Rubber
Duck has healing properties: it can relieve mondial tensions as well as define
them. The rubber duck is soft, friendly and suitable for all ages!
(Taken from Florentijn Hofman’s website)
I finally met the good ol’ rubber duck that I've been
fantasizing on seeing for years, and in my favorite place/city/country on
earth at that.
The duck will be on display from the 14th of
October to November 14th by the Seokchon Lake Park, across the new
Lotte Mall.
P.S. Everyone’s favorite little penguin wants some lovin’ too!
It is as if my secret Pinterest boards came to life. From the colors, the shelves, the wall art, cupcakes lamps, swings, lights, and those pretty pretty china. Nothing screams Laline's Pinterest fantasy dream come true more than the place called Vanilla Cupcake Bakery.
I was ecstatic whilst drinking the chamomile tea Linh ordered(...don't get me started on that cute tea set!), but I'd have to be honest, I didn't like the food that much. I guess it was an off day in the kitchen or something. Or maybe because I expected too much, judging by the photo in the menu. Or I'm just craving for a different thing, nevertheless... I kind of still finished my meal.
Hopefully, if ever we visit again, we'll get to sit by that cute swing chair. And maybe I'll get myself a pork chop instead.
You can't buy happiness, but you can treat yourself in a satisfying dinner at Sambo Kojin and that's kind of a same thing.
Whilst others were busy either hating or loving the fact that H&M finally opens its flagship store here in the PH, We chose to stuff ourselves with divine grilled meat goodness. Celebrating the delectable delight of Japanese and Korean cuisines with good company.
I should be honest, I only ate a slice of chocolate cake to prepare for this night(so unhealthy, I know). I seldom go to buffets, so this a pretty huge deal. You can lecture me all you want, but I've never tried eating at Sambo Kojin before(so please, let me be.).

I won't lie, we went off with a quiet start. We were all hungry as hell. And I must say, that morning fasting was so worth it. It went down to either I'm just REALLY THAT HUNGRY, or that grilled pork and meat I ate was just flabbergast-ingly satisfying.
Now that I got that off my chest... plus multiple craving frustration moments later, let me now get to my point for this post.
I can't help but smile recalling that Friday night. We were all together again, I never thought it was possible in the soonest possible time. But it happened.
Charlie Brown once said, "Friendship picks you up, when the world let's you down." Life had been somehow difficult for most of us. Some had it tougher than the others. We all had our own battles, and they all matter. It warms my heart to be surrounded with brave, and gorgeous people like you girls.
The smiles on our faces doesn't mean our lives are perfect. It means that we appreciate what we have and what we have been blessed with. Despite everything... we stood up, and WE CHOSE TO BE HAPPY. (Yeahp, I definitely am channeling the good ol' Charlie Brown.)
To our dearest awesome person who made this all possible... NIU just opened. *wink wink*
Because one is not enough... and nine is not even close to being satisfactory.
I was in pain because of a heartache when my beloved ferns decided that my room is not humid enough for their liking. I thought of just having them in my parent's plant box by our roof top. I hope they're having the time of their life now that they migrated.
And with moving on, I decided to get me some new friends to get along with.

Inspired by that Rainbow Rowell book that everyone talked about. I bought these two pretty beings together one Monday night. And I realized whilst writing this entry that I didn't even name them beforehand. With the lame attempt of naming them something witty, I caught the book's title in front of me. So voila, our plant love team. Good job Laline, indeed.
Bash
I must admit, it was hard for me naming this badass. You could ask Ate Anne, I flooded her with photos of my ideal succulent garden. I was that into it. My Pinterest garden board could also be an evident representation that I was so desperate to take care of one(or more, we'll never know.). I named her Bash in short for Bashful. There is something about that adjective that I find adorable, I had to name my plant after it.

Do you ever just look at a person, and that one person has the ability to take your breath away?
I wrote a draft of this entry on the 3rd of October wherein I stayed Ate Anne's place for the long weekend to celebrate my birthday(which will be on the 7th, which is just hours away). I swear, whilst writing this, I cannot contain myself. Screaming, smelling and rolling around is not even enough for me to express the amount of feels that surrounded my Laline heart. I felt the need to sit down, think, reflect and write.
The quality of the magazine is just A+ on my book. It has a matte quality cover paper that just makes the paper enthusiast in me scream. It has that fancy magazine vibe, it could even pass as a photobook. And don't get me started about the smell(*sniffs the magazine*)! I am a sucker for that freshly opened magazine smell. I sniffed the hell out of this magazine, it's not even funny.
And then we are back to the reason why I even started on this post... Bangtan(*whispers* SEOKJIN). I swear this group takes the best group photos, may it from just their phones, to formal shoots... they just make everything look good and precious. I have no words.
This has got to be one of my favorite magazine features they've done by far. From the shoot to their clothes, everything just screams perfection(emphasis on PERFECTION)! And I don't know if you could tell, but I am obviously into this one particular person from the group, *blushes* But let's talk about him some other time. For now... let's enjoy all the eye candy.
I would like to lovingly thank Ate Anne for this awesome gift. I swear I can't get enough of it(judging from the amount of times I sniffed bleep the out of this bad boy). It may not seem like it, but I'm seriously above the clouds. Thank you!
