I never knew that one of the stories that basically shaped my childhood came from such a heavy emotionally wrecking place.

Tried to be quirky, a bit confused of what it wants, and a waste of time. Table 19 just so proves that sometimes... the trailer really is better than the actual movie.

Bloody, petty, and cluttered. This unnecessarily long(2 hours!) blood fest paired with a very dense plot and character motivation. Definitely not the Samurai movie I wanted it to be.

Simple, precious, and somewhat poetic without being too full of itself - Paterson as my first film for the year 2018, and I really enjoyed it.
