BTS (방탄소년단): SUMMER PACKAGE in DUBAI 2016
Friday, May 26, 2017Forget my last post, THIS is the real late post (a year late at that!). But since summer is about to end - I felt like it is appropriate to finally have this up on my blog (finally!).
With all the good things happening, I don't think they'll be releasing another Summer Package soon. But don't quote me on that since it's possible that they have one under wraps (I hope not since I am in a huge need to save!).
The basics are as follows:
1. OUT BOX
2. 192-page Photobook
3. Making DVD
4. Mini Poster (2 Sided)
5. PVC Zipperbag
6. Beach Ball
7. Tattoo Stickers
8. Charm Accessory
Whoever came up with this packaging is a genius. To the point that I'm willing to pay for his/her dinner. Because damn, when I opened this and sun was just behind me, I loved the shadow effect the lettering did when I lifted the box up. I just really loved the box.
It's simple yet really, really pretty. Like how I like my K-POP merch, you know what I mean?
One thing came to mind when I was able to touch and flip through the Photobook - it reminds me so much of Frankie magazine.
It's simple in a sense that it's not flashy or hardbound yet it has that aesthetically pleasing vibe going on it's good. So good.
Like almost my every recent Bangtan purchase, I honestly don't have plans on actually buying this package. But since it had such cute photos(emphasis on CUTE!). I had to have it.
Also, there's Seokjin showing his board skills... I definitely can't miss that!
I also liked the diary part of each the members, where they talk about what they had done on that certain day(which was on the DVD, but I most likely won't be watching it.):
Let's not forget one of the highlights in this photobook, some Yoongi - Jimin GOODNESS:
The DVD is wrapped in the usual envelope that goes with the whole package. As I do believe that rips for it is already out and about the internet, I don't have any more to say about it (Since like I said, I won't be watching it anytime soon.)
As for Mini Poster, I'm glad that it's not your usual default pose type of poster. It's something you can actually frame and show off to your family and fool them that it was a photo from you're boyfriend's trip abroad *wink wink*.
The ZIPPER BAG is heaven sent. I loved the idea of it since you can really use it in the summer or anywhere even. It carries everything in the package too, which is a huge plus!
As for the charm, I'm honestly afraid to open it for the life of me. It's a string type that the paranoid in me is afraid to have dirtied or something.
As for the beach ball and tattoo, I'm not quite sure if I'm really game to open them, like the charm bracelet. I feel like ruining or using both will just make everything feel not right. But that's just me.
And lastly, of course, is the usual cute and precious army appreciation that every official merchandise never fails to remind us, it was all thanks to ARMY for making everything possible.
I would like to thank @theseoulcentral / @bweemeen / Marge for making this purchase possible.
