2017: Petit a Petit

Wednesday, May 03, 2017

You could consider a post like this a bit too late – which it is. But bear with me on this one, I’ll make it quick.

As you know – if you’re reading my posts, I love keeping things in-record. I love lists, calendars, and anything that has something to do with journals. It’s a thing with me and my anxiety on forgetting things. I’ve been keeping a journal since forever.

I first got my Petit a Petit journal when I went to my first South Korea, I fell in love with one in this little YP bookstore in Gimpo Airport, and since then - I’ve come to love one journal brand and have stuck with til’ today.

For this year – I’ve made a bolder choice and chose a very different journal color… that includes the color pink (I hate pink) called Serenity.

I guess, one of the reasons why I stuck with this brand is its well-balanced design and practicality, which I look for in every item I purchase.  It has the right size and space for everything I need to write. It has pretty watercolor illustrations about Paris. And again, I’m gonna reiterate the fact that it is the right size.

Unfortunately, for this year – they got rid of the lined note section. Which is a bummer because I list down all the movies I watch in those spaces(I’ve been doing that for 2 years now).

As I have formed an unintentional trilogy for my journals for the past three years, will I be purchasing another journal like it again? Maybe. I’m currently looking for new brands like Mossery. But thinking about it – it could be hard for me to let go of such a functional and pretty journal brand.
