A Round Up: Pokemon ❤ Tony Moly Face Mask Collection

I never really was focused on hoarding any beauty items when I went back to Korea last April. But due to pressure (and undeniable cuteness, really). I had to have boxes of the Pokemon x Tony Moly Face Masks. And I'm glad I gave in!

This collaboration was released last year when Pokemon Go was still somewhat all the rage. But if you're like me whose childhood was basically made up of afternoons blocked to watch Pokemon - this collection just hits the right spot of nostalgia and with skin care benefits too!
I still consider myself a kbeauty/skincare newbie in general. I felt like masks are my safest bet when it comes to splurging a bit a moolah.
I bought this collection on my last day in the beauty section of the Incheon Airport(you could say I was panic buying at this point.), and I purchased 4 boxes with 10 masks each for around $20. Which also includes 10 free Pikachu masks as well.
This would probably be my most favorite mask out of the three I have. Charmander is in charge of BRIGHTENING, with Grapefruit - which makes the skin look clear and bright, which is what really need the most.
And after using like 5 of these the past few weeks, I could tell the subtle brightening results. Which made me happy. Now I'm sad that I only have one mask left with me.
My skin felt soft, fresh and bright. It's something that could help you if you feel like your skin had been looking a bit dull. This is recommended for those who wants to upgrade their everyday lazy girl night routine.
I'm honestly still unsure with what I think about this one. My sister loves it - who wouldn't? It's the cutest one in the bunch. The issue I have with this, though it claims to be HYDRATING, it feels a bit too sticky and uncomfortable for me.
Packed with lotus ingredients, it claims to give you that hydrating feeling, and at the same time removes impurities from your skin. My sister who has dry skin loves the effect of this one, so it could work with such skin types (I have combination skin). With 8 packs left, I'll give this cute one a chance again to prove me wrong.
And lastly, the fun one! I got 10 of these as a freebie. And boy was I surprised, as it's not a full face mask but a quad of stickers of the Pokemon figures we love. It was a bit of a struggle to put it on since there's a lot to cover an entire face. But it was cute.
The consistency of the serum is slippery, so it's better to put it on whilst lying down and have someone you trust to put them on you. One thing's for sure, it made my skin feel hydrated and plump. This mask contains evening primrose flower extracts which it claims to whiten the skin and has anti-wrinkle properties. I guess this one targets a more mature audience in a sense. As this was a freebie, I do believe you can't really get it in stores.
In general, my only concern is how course the cotton sheets feel on my face, but that could be me being over-sensitive with everything. Overall, I loved how this is not just a generic line where you're just practically paying for the collaboration. It works which is the most important factor.
I'm unfortunately sure if this was released outside of South Korea, but if it was - give it a try!
