Love never felt so good.

And it all happened: My first local concert. A one of a kind showcase of passion, undeniable talent, and all things JaDine. A special declaration of love in front of a thousands of people not only within the coliseum, but to all the witnesses tuning in from all around the world(via livestreaming). And of course, the birth of Team Real.

But for now, for the last time, let me step back and experience it all again thru writing before I let it go. (Yes, I'm still suffering from a major concert withdrawal. And it ain't good.)

It was a Saturday, a jam packed one at that. I had a morning meeting for work. I attended a talk about Information Architecture. I had to rush home again to actually pack for our hotel stay. We even went around the mall looking for a HDMI cable in desperation to watch DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

In terms of pre-concert preparation rituals, this one is the most nerve wracking, unsure one of all. I have been to concerts for almost half of my lifetime, I guess. And never have I ever felt so unprepared. There was not a setlist leaked. There wasn't even an announcement of who's going to appear as guests. It was just JaDine, and nothing else.

The next thing I know Mona started freaking out because of a SUPREME Exclusive article. Which to be honest I didn't think about too much at that time, for I was still unsure of my feelings towards the concert that is just hours away.

Then we were in. Section PT101-Port11, Row 9, Seat 14. "It's definitely happening!", I told myself. Everyone was coming in carrying their blue and pink lightsticks, some even had banners, balloons and signs of some sort. IT'S DEFINITELY HAPPENING, I told myself once more.

Daryl Ong jump started the show out of the blue, singing the infamous song "Stay".

Everyone suddenly freaked out when James' family suddenly came out of the backstage to take their seats, which was rows behind us. I kind of felt sorry for both Daryl, and the family. Daryl, for whilst he was performing people suddenly went screaming, and turned their backs on him. James' family for most of the girls around them kept on asking for selfies forcing the guards to actually plead said girls to stop.

As the lights fade, and the sea of blue and pink became apparent within the dome. The music starts playing with James appearing obviously frustrated with the faulty lift, but that didn't faze the guy for he carried his two wheeled contraption toy(I refuse to call it a hoverboard), and climbed the stage instead.

And yes, he freakin' danced whilst riding that two wheeled contraption without any trouble. If that is not some kind of talent/specialty/whatever, I don't know what is.

With Nadine appearing right after, everyone just lost it.

Seeing them together on stage is always a delight. I love how the opening felt so fresh, alive, and just sweet. Guhhhhhhhhhhhh. And I really do apologize if I can't disclose the song they sang, for there was no setlist released. And I was too into the whole show to even mind whatever they were singing at that time.

One thing is for sure though, something definitely changed. I've seen these two together on stage, and off, for more than twice to date. And something just felt so different - in a good, damn what happened and why are they like that?!?!? -kind of way. (But we all why everything felt like that after all these right?)

The execution of the opening number was perfect(despite the stage lift trouble). I don't why I was so worried about me not liking the show. The explosive mash up of songs pertaining of two people falling in love, and just love in general is just the perfect way to show everyone present sit tight, relax, and enjoy for we're all going to have a great time.

One love song after another, in all honesty, you don't need much from these two. They could just stare, and slowdance infront of us for hours, and everyone would still say that we had a great night.

But damn, their vocals improved so much. Not to mention they're both dancing as well. So 10 minutes in and it feels as if the amount I paid to watch this concert is not enough to pay back what these two prepared for everyone.

Let me reiterate on the fact that they can just slow dance in front of us for like hours, and for sure everyone will never get sick of it. There was this slow dance break, and goodness me. I think I shouted "WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING?!?" out loud, for all I know.

There was this moment where Nadine just looking at James so lovingly whilst embracing him, as James on the other hand was processing the intensity of it all by looking around the crowd. It was so precious. I mean, we've since James looked at Nadine like he could melt him like snow in the summer. But this is the first time I saw Nadine stare at James like this. So yes, it was definitely precious on my list.

It's time for their little ment to thank everyone for coming. And mind you, this ment will not be the last where they emphasize how thankful they are for both JaDines and OTWOLISTAs present.

Then we proceed to a game called "KISS OR SAGOT(Answer/Respond)?!"

The first question was for James: For him to stare at Nadine from head to toe, and point our her sexiest body part. And damn, the man did not disappoint. He stared at her from head to toe as if he was looking at her for the very first time, so adoringly, making everyone of us scream. Like SCREAM. And he points out her legs. Which I still think is a lie, because we all know how he stares at her lips! (Nice try, Hayme!)

The second question was then again for James: Which of their kissing scenes was their favorite, and out of the blue he turned into this little shy baby boy approaching Nadine. Planting a very light, and I should point out, CUTE! kiss on her cheeks. Making everyone stomp their feet mental and screaming.

The last question was for Nadine where she was asked about the scenes she had done with James, did she ever felt kilig? And being Nadine, she goes around and teases the crowd. Leaving us with no answer. (HOW FREAKIN' DAREEE)

Then a familiar song started playing, and I'm freaking out.

Hitting Mona's arm repeatedly, "Is it "Huwag Ka Nang Humirit"?! IS IT "HUWAG KA NANG HUMIRIT"?!". I was so close to losing my shit, and it's kind of not a good thing. For "Huwag Ka Nang Humirit is one of my favorite songs to date.

Fun irrelevant fact: It's my most played songs on my iPod and Spotify. So I guess that says something.

I can't believe that I'm actually listening to it live at that time. It was magical, and I'm not even romanticizing it one bit, I swear.  I'm just on high, for I'm finally listening to it live. And it sounded so lovely, damn.

Of course a JaDine concert won't be complete without Nadine singing one of her hits. She gave the crowd a huge treat thru her Para Paraan - Anticipating(by Britney Spears) mash up, which was glorious and genius. She's so adorable, I just cannot.

The next thing we know her two BFFs appear - Yassi Pressman and Myrtle. The three together was explosive with their Girl Power number, damn. I have no words.

The two friends had nothing but good things to share about their tried and tested friendship with Nadine. Even bragging each other's episodes and struggles with her. I loved the moment when Yassi suddenly blurted out "Sobrang sakto ang title ng concert na to!(The title of this concert is DEFINITELY true to its meaning.)" which made everyone go mental.

The lights went dim and and unfamiliar beat played, "shit!" I shouted out loud. Nadine Lustre is performing "Get Right" by Jennifer Lopez. And we have nothing but screams to accompany her epic performance.

Yassi was right, Nadine really did show another side of her. A bad-ass one at that. It's expected, yet still jaw dropping. This girl is just explosive-in a good way, inside and out!

As she tried to catch her breath, asking the crowd if they enjoyed her explosive number. She then sang "Kanlungan" which she dedicates to her lola. Making her teary eyed as she sings. Heartfelt, I must say. It was a very precious solemn moment for her. And I sure believe her lola would be so proud.

There's no doubt, James Reid will always slay every perfomance he does. So I'm not really that surprised anymore, but damn this guy... has MAD TALENT.

From singing Michael Jackson and Justin Bieber songs to serenading the crowd with Up Dharma Down's Tadhana. He just never disappoints.

I don't know if I said it more than I should have, but seriously. James Reid performing on stage is my favorite kind of James Reid. You can just feel the passion and sincerity, not to mention the A+ talent oozing out of him.

Also, anyone from VIVA. If ever you stumble upon this blog in the near future, please do consider James releasing his cover of Tadhana. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE deserves to listen to his version. I'm floored to how amazing it was. You just need to goddamn release it, please.

And of course, a James perfomance won't be complete without him showing off his dance moves. He had his friend Elmo help him out. Which by the freakin' way, surprised me. Because I never really realized how good looking Elmo really was until I saw him come out of the JaDine in Love Stage.

So guys, shameless plug: Let us please also support Elmo with his upcoming teleserye along with Janella, coming soon!

Vice Ganda appeared out of the blue bringing laughs and witty comebacks. For some odd and actually rude reasons, some group started shouting "Ilabas si Nadine! Ilabas si Nadine!(Bring out Nadine! Bring out Nadine!)" Which Vice slyly replied with "Bakit? Kinulong ba namin si Nadine?"

To those people who started that bullshit, who might be reading this, I hope you did reflect on your actions. Because that was rude as hell. The show was getting better and better, for crying out loud. Why must you demand such a thing? She's obviously going to get out and perform anyway. I don't see the logic in doing such a thing.

Lights faded, and an emotional melody that is "All of Me" starts playing. Everyone figured it out, they're performing yet another sensual interpretative dance. Everyone went crazy, I don't know how we even managed to survive.

Accompanied with a Juan Miguel Severo's words, everything was just incredible. The heavy feeling of every step. To their touches that just blows everyone away, I have nothing to say but WOW! at this point.

These two really did give meaning to the phrase "POETRY IN MOTION."

The two had another ment where they were supposed to share their CITY BLENDS Status on their Status Cups. And I guess one man took the HONEST TO GOODNESS slogan too seriously. James cheekily answered "Taken na ako eh (I'm already taken)"

I was honesly shaking my head at that point. I kept on asking what the hell is going on. For this is not how they usually are. I need answers. And I need them fast.

As the cheesy but very timely VCR of them together played. Erik Santos out of the blue appeared on stage. Not that I'm complaining or anything. But it was just a bit curious for me to see him. People started looking at the back, shouting, standing on their chairs even.

It was James. Wearing a suit you typically just wear at a wedding. And then it kind of sunk in.

Kyla appeared, singing "On The Wings of Love" It is like some almost wedding is about to happen for Nadine appeared in a very regal looking white dress. As James looked at her so lovingly, I lost it.

The two went up to the stage side by side, with a very grand background. There's a freakin orchestra, behind them mind you. And they just slow danced. Like it was if there were only the two of them in the arena. That magical moment you only see in fairy tales where people realize and can tell how they're in love with one another, it's that kind of moment.

They finished the "On The Wings Of Love" song Kyla started. And in a very JaDine manner, their faces got even closer to each other. It was both rude(in an adorable way) and satisfying.

The whole OTWOL cast went up the stage, it really was magical. To actually see the people you've shared the nights watching these past few months, it was really a great way to slowly cap it off.

One of the things I love about the people I support(shameless mention of Bangtan in this parenthesis because they're awesome, and if you don't know them you should check them out!). Both James and Nadine never fails to thank their fans over and over again. And each and every time, they make sure we know this. That they really truly are thankful for us, for supporting them. Every ment they've done during the concert, they never forget to thank each and every one present, as well as everyone who have been there for them from the very start. And it's one of the things that makes me proud of the fact that I supported these two people.

The concert really did made everyone feel a special kind of love. And I feel like the amount I paid for it is not even enough. For a local concert, this was an incredible one.

Aside from the two, as well as the guests. A huge factor of my appreciation goes to the ones behind the show. It takes a lot to even make everything possible. Paul Basinillo did a really great job, I became an instant fan.

As for the little confusing but really heart stopping treat for the encore. Like what I said multiple times in this entry, I have no words. To be able to witness such a declaration will be one for the books for me. I  am glad to be a part of it. I wish these two amazing human beings more success, love and positivity for the years to come (Mabuhay ang bagong kasal! joke.).
