November 12, 2015

Oh dear, I've done it again. I promised myself not to, but I have done it again.

All photographs on this blog were taken by me
(unless otherwise stated),
please don't pinch them without asking and crediting to my blog.

"Dadaan ka lang. Susulyap ka lang.(You're just going to pass by, and get a glimpse of them.)" - those where the words I kept on telling myself whilst walking from my office building towards SM Megamall on a very hot Thursday afternoon.

As I have arrived, people have already gathered and secured their places to catch a glimpse of the Partners in Crime, as well as many others. Which is a huge frustration on my part, for I don't want to deal with the mayhem that could follow.

The crew were busy preparing food for the guests. A crew was double checking some security SOPs. All is set for the guests' anticipated arrival.

It was already 3:00PM and no one kind of relevant have arrived. Press people turned up to set up. And people were growing kind of impatient, checking the their social media accounts for updates.

Crepes were out, which is a good sign, as everyone hoped.

Sam Pinto arrived and everyone got excited. She passed by our area to greet each and every one. Kind and simple, that's how she is.

There were these boys who arrived riding their automatic wheeled contraptions. I have no idea who they are. But a few kept on shouting at them to take selfies.

To my surprise, Donnalyn Bartolome turned up. And as I was trying to be chill, for I need to get decent shots of her for my sister who loves her(like love loveeeees her). She looks unreal, if you ask me. Her every move screams ADORABLE with heart emojis following her around, and that's a fact. No wonder my sister loves her. It took me a long while to process she's like a feet away from me, wishing that my sister was beside me. She truly is a precious human being, not gonna lie.

Moving on to another surprise, Yassi was present as well - sans Andre. *edit in my sad face here*

She got everyone pumped up, when she went around to get close with the fans around. Which kind of escalated quickly as she's like really standing so close to me. Like inches away kind of close, with only the barrier between us. She went to stood in front of me to sign some CDs for the person beside me.

Then came what the people behind me labeled as "Yung bestfriend ni James.(James' Bestfriend)", Bret Jackson. He went together with Andi Eigenmann.

Like Donnalyn and Yassi, Bret took time to approach the fans and took some selfies.

Everyone within the event premises were enjoying their crepes, as for us by the barriers were close to getting hot under the collar. People sat near our area which blocked our view. The guards kept on insisting the people behind us to leave for they might hit this the HDTV placed there. For a person who vowed to just get a glimpse of the two(James and Nadine), it's not a great scene to be involved in, to be quite honest.

The next thing we know, everyone started getting ready. There was also even this cute moment wherein Yassi, Bret, and Andi was smiling and saying "Ayan na sila.(There they are.)", even acting like crazed fans screaming mental. It was so funny.

As the crowd's screams get louder. And security guards get more, and more douchey-er. The Partners in Crime appeared. It was chaos. It was crazy. I tried to tiptoe and raise my camera up high, just to get a decent shot. Let me reiterate that it was that crazy. And a group of chill old people in front of us blocking my shot is not helping either, for they were just so relaxed, eating their crepes. Like no one arrived. Yeah, they're probably living the life.

People then started chanting "JaDine! JaDine! JaDine!"  out loud as the two entered the scene. I'm still speechless, filled with wonder kind of speechless.

I'm seeing them for the second time around, and the surreal effect is still there.

I finally got to see a Yassi-Nadine interaction in person, and well... they're clingy as can be!

But let's be real though, no one is clingier to Nadine than the Pambansang Hubby himself. He kept on checking in on her. Even if he was the first one to settle, you could see it on his face that he's genuinely waiting for her.

And don't get me started on how electric they are. The two created their own little bubble amidst the chaos around them. Like always. Just unbelievable. I don't know how they do it, but they're just casually chatting about whilst everyone kept on screaming their names over and over again. Unbelievable.

They moved to the photo wall, which was by our side. And a huge mistake on our part. Since I can't really see them. But could here the laughter and  all these talk about Nadine taking on the Darna role. Which James cutely answered "If she's Darna, I'm Captain Barbel." - see, clingy.

One thing I hated during the whole photo wall segment of the event was this one guy laughing at all of us by the barriers. Pointing and laughing mind you, which left everyone giving him looks. He then flashed his photo with the James and Nadine which made some scream and others give him the silent treatment. It was rude. I have never been laughed and pointed at my entire life. He could've had the access to get close with the two, but his morals is just rubbish. /end of rant.

Oh! After the interview and photo op, the pair ate with friends, along with Tom (James' brother). You could really tell they were really hungry, for they were eating at a speed. Even having two plates of crepes.

James left earlier for another event. Leaving Nadine, who was still finishing her crepes. I must note that I loved that moment where the brothers casually, yet sweetly gave her a beso goodbye. Casual, but downright cute and sweet!

Goddamn beautiful as always, Nadine was left. She kept waving and smiling at everyone which was nice. Even gladly posing for photos.

Despite donning a fierce all black number, Nadine is still Nadine. Chatting away, being her bungisngis self. Radiating positivity inside and out.

Even though I have sworn that I will never see JaDine in such events, I have found myself breaking my own rule once again. Can you blame me, though? They're too precious to ignore. I just had to see them. Closer and closer, each and every time. haha!

Don't forget to check out the Paper Moon Cake Boutique and Cafe in SM Megamall - located at the 2nd level, Mega A! My sister loved their chocolate crepe!
