2017: May Playlist

Here are the songs I listened to and loved for the month of May

I had a musically packed month of May. I was supposed so close to posting a TOP 20 list for the past month, but I had to control myself for the sake of order. May was a month of ALBUMS - which shows on the song list above. The little list below contains my most played songs(according to Apple).

This song practically played for the whole month of May, on repeat.

I've been caught with the Monsta X bug, and I don't know how I'll be able to get out of it! I was a bit unsure checking this song out at first since it was always suggested to me on youtube during those days where I'm still studying Monsta X as a group. But when I stumbled upon a video titled Hyungwon Singing video (yes, I like Hyungwon.), I finally get it why youtube's system is so insistent for me to check the music video out.

I don't what it is with this song, but I just like listening to it over and over - given that it's a song Hyungwon's vocals made me love it all the more. It's such a great song, and I hope for more of it in the future. (RISE MY INTERSTELLAR UNIT, RISEEEEE!)

A|1 is such a refreshing album coming from someone like SEVENTEEN. It was a hard decision for me to only pick one. I loved every track, and my heart is still confused til' now. You could say that I'm heavily biased with my adoration towards the Hip Hop Unit, thus this song was selected.

Til' now, I have no idea why on earth did I finish the show. It's not even that great to begin with, but one thing I got from it was this cute song that I can't get out of my head.

He's back. I've been waiting for a Roy Kim EP release for like forever, and Blossom did the trick for me. Egoist speaks so close to home for me, and to have Roy Kim singing made it 10 times better.

Now here's the biggest surprise of the month. After shunning my little sister's efforts to make me like Astro, I guess you could say that she finally succeeded as their newest release DREAM PART.01 is such a blessing. If you're into that generic K-pop boy-next-door bubblegum pop goodness(I AM!), then you are in for a ride.

Like SEVENTEEN's A|1, I love every track that I hated the fact that I only had to choose one, but Dreams Come True definitely captured my heart the most.
