"This is a new beginning.
I will dream once again.
I will step out this door and meet
the new world outside of me.
And will not let go of the star
I kept in my heart."
Dreaming Days, BTS Photobook 'Now 3' in Chicago
Let me be real here, I never thought I'll be posting a post like this again. I've been all over the place. My feelings are all over the place. And I am not as active as I was when it comes to Bangtan as I was before. But here we are again! Hello... again! This is actually a really late post, and to add to that, my kit lens is jammed. Hurray!
Back to the topic, I present to you the BTS "Now 3" in Chicago Photobook post!
Don't judge me, but I was honestly not planning on buying this photobook. At the time this was announced I was struggling with adulting. I had to cut back on some things - mainly fangirling. And I thought it wouldn't really hurt to actually skip this on this one, like I did with the BTS Live 화양연화On Stage DVD.
But then again, preview photos of Seokjin surfaced the interwebs, and I had to have it. For the sake of gorgeous!Seokjin and completing a BTS NOW trilogy(I do believe this is going to be a trilogy, since BTS is known for settling with trilogies, but don't quote me on that. It's just a hunch.).
I never really liked the packaging for this year's NOW. It was a mix of its predecessors with the gorgeous hardbound photobook, wrapped in a very confusing cardboard with a very fancy paper accent. Don't hate on me but I spent minutes figuring out how to even open the thing. I fail at life, I know.
The BAMFs of this year's NOW is no surprise - Yoongi and Seokjin. It's a mix of me being the biased girl that I am. And let's face it, these two are gorgeous as hell. In every chapter, I find myself swooning for they were decently styled. Nothing against the others, it's just my taste. So...
I actually love the text-photo mix in this one, for it was really well thought of. It's not as random as it was before. It plays around the Neverland theme of boys not really wanting to grow up. And I do love some fancy straight to the point titles, thank you very much.
And of course, that one thing I always look for in every Bangtan thing I own the "Special Thanks to A.R.M.Y" part. And this year, they went all out dedicating a page. We're not in the special thanks area anymore, people!
There is all this Neverland book that comes with the whole thing. At first I thought it's going to be some adult coloring book of some sort, it was just a really random addition which was kind of cheaply designed. The contents could have been just included in the Photobook as well, but I guess, it's cleaner and more organized if it's a separated.
And of course, creepy ghost Yoongi wins!
Overall, I'm very satisfied getting this beauty. It's all I ever need to reach to on a bad day. Because just look at Seokjin and his dark fluffy hair. I miss it. So much. I hate him as a blonde. Hate. /sadface.
I guess what really made me somehow feel neutral about this year's NOW is that is not a limited editon as it was for the first two. You can still buy it if you want to. The thrill of having it is not as much exciting as the first ones the came out years ago. But I guess, it could be better that way for new fans to have the chance to get them too, I guess.

hi ate! saan po kayo bumibili ng merch? sa bts ofc shop po ba? if yes, ano po gamit niyo, EMS or EMS Premium? Diretso po ba sa bahay yung padala or pupuntahan pa sa customs or post office (basta yung pagsstock-an yung may babayaran pa, di ko po sure kung customs ba yung or post office hehehe) Maraming salamat po!! :)
ReplyDeleteHello There! Sorry for the late reply!
Delete1. I used to buy there before, but not anymore. I buy from a local GO store instead like - The Soul Central PH or Seould Out Manila.
2. Both EM and EMS premium are subject to customs. That's why like I said above, I don't buy directly with the anymore.
