September 20, 2015

Never have I ever thought this day would come. But it happened, it's here. There's no turning back. And I felt the need to fully embrace it by doing this blog post.

A reminder:
All photographs on this blog were taken by me (unless otherwise stated),
please don't pinch them without asking and crediting to my blog.

Even until now, I can't believe I purchased an "Official Scrapbook" out of all things.

Damn, this show. Damn, these two. I'm in deep jebs for everything On The Wings of Love, and I just can't pretend I'm totally chill about it anymore!

Believe me when I say I rushed to the ABS-CBN online store and clicked ADD TO CART. I was that dead serious about it. In my defense, I have spent hundreds of dollars on my KPOP stuff, so this is nothing compared to that. Right?

The official scrapbook comes with two back-to-back covers, one with James and Nadine. The whole scrapbook felt like a formal introduction to the world, that these two, ladies and gentlemen, is JaDine.

I really adore the whole back to back cover concept, for as you go in the middle part of the scrapbook, that's where there answers were combined. So it's like as you go along, you get to know them individually, then you'll get to appreciate them even more together. (Or that could just be me romanticizing the scrapbook's structure.)

Of course, the scrapbook is filled with photos of the partners in crime, being all cute, adorable and just guhhhhh with each other. I. JUST. CAN'T. SEND HELP!

I'm telling you now, I can't help but smile whilst browsing through the scrapbook. Blame these two for being too adorable and true for my own sake!

Before anything else, if you are still confused with the On The Wings of Love story, the scrapbook contains both Leah and Clark's character profiles and the whole introduction to the drama.

And if you are reading this, and still have not watched the drama... please leave! Kidding. Or not.

Give it a chance, will you? It's a refreshing drama. A game changer if you could put it. One of its kind. The one show that will make you love every second, even the Nakaraan and Abangan parts are a standalone shows on their own. A great progress from  the usual Filipino teleseryes we see today. So please, watch it. Please?

The scrapbook is filled with so much cute. I repeat, so much cute. Like how it's adorable that the two partners never leave home without their phones, and the creative team decided to make everyone giggle by doing an artwork of their phone with each other's photos on it as their wallpaper. Genius.

Also, I can't help but laugh at the fact that James Reid gives so much importance to his hair, like his life depended on it. It's so cute. Like super cute. CUTE!

In my mind, it will now be James Reid = Hair.

Side note: Nadine usually touches his hair, so what that does make her, JAMES?! I need an explanation.

I found myself screaming internally at the fact that James looks up to James Dean. And he dreams of becoming someone like James Dean. Then suddenly, we have Nadine choosing James Dean as her Ultimate Dream Date. I don't know what it is, but you tell me. TELL ME WHAT. IT. IS!

If you're not sure what 'Kilig' is, then let James and Nadine explain the whole damn thing to you. As for me, they always make me feel kilig. May it be the fact that they're looking at each other, or even just standing beside each other. I have no chill, I know. I knoooooow.

Also, if you're going through a broken heart phase, fear no more! For James and Nadine have some tips to get you over it and live life with a smile.

And here we have Nadine making me feel not alone with my obsession over cleaning. Thank you, Nadine. Thank you.

And this joke from James Reid. I went speechless.

I'm surprised with my own damn self that I was able to keep my cool the whole time I was browsing. For I could've tore this scrapbook into pieces. It's just too much for my feelings, I don't know how I did it, but I survived.

James and Nadine, it's not healthy for everyone when you do things like this:

The fact that they might've been describing each other to their answers in this section. It's not okay. I'm not okay. Are you okay? Is this okay? /runs away, runs far away from everyone for I could go violent

Or that could be just me thinking too much. I don't know anything anymore. You tell me. Tell me that I am right. Or I am wrong? OR I AM DAMN RIGHT!? /walks out.

Of course the scrapbook is not complete without behind-the-scenes photos. May it be when they were shooting in San Francisco:

Even the Summer Station ID:

My favorite part in the whole scrapbook would probably be their Ultimate Playlists.

There was this phase where I decided to download every song James and Nadine listed on their instagrams. Adik, I know. But the songs were good, I can't help it. Don't blame me. BLAME THEM.

Oh! Before I forget, the scrapbook also comes with stickers! My favorite would probably be the one where they're looking all cozy on the bed.

I also appreciate the fact that this scrapbook subtly shows how human they are. Like you can just feel the genuine, no-showbiz shit answers they give. And I love that. We need more of that.

It's a struggle to keep myself aligned with the fact that these two people are just partners-in-crime, doing reel things for the sake of entertainment. But as I get two know these two beautiful people, it's not just about them doing lovey-dovey stuff. It's much more than that.

I never thought I'd say this, but it's a really good scrapbook. Like I genuinely love it to bits. For PHP 150, it's definitely worth it. And it even resulted to me being all candid about it.

So, If you love On The Wings Of Love, and most specially, if you love these two people, the "On The Wings of Love" Official Scrapbook is worth the money. Believe me.
