Ilocos Entry, 2015: The Summary

Friday, May 08, 2015

So finally, this happened. I may be late in a sense... but I have my set of excuses as to why this took a month to finish. But enough about that, we don't need excuses anymore, right?

I was lucky enough to have traveled along with my family to Ilocos during the first half of April. I love the idea of coming to Ilocos, the long drive and the change of scenery is something I always crave for. Also, before you actually enter the tourist spots within Ilocos, you'll have to, or might pass by Juan Luna's house. I have always pictured it in my mind, wherein I'll go into Juan Luna's house, and might actually lose my sanity. But here's the thing, the Juan Luna house visit never really happened. So enough of that, I guess... (Yes, I just spent talking about something that did not happen, bite me.)
The lack of photos taken within this trip kind of bothered me a bit, for I was really into taking montage-y cliche videos, it's sickening.

One of the most memorable places for me personally, would be that tea place in the middle of the Vigan Heritage Village. I loved that tea place so much, we went there twice. It's like the Min's of Ilocos for me. Somewhere I can feel at ease in a place I am not familiar with.

And I really love their Wintermelon tea. It's good. Like... damn good.

And since we have time to spare, cue shots of me that makes no sense at all.
We also passed by this Sand Dunes place which was loads of fun. I thought we were all going to die, I heard and saw my mom scream curse words, so all is good!

Taking advantage of the location, here you'll find my little sister channeling her inner Kendall Jenner:

And as for me? Well, I tried. (Subtly points out my Mario phone case... hee)

We passed by the Rock Formation and Windmill farm as well, which is one of the "main" Ilocos go-to. Which also meant alot of people. Thus, only this photo made it to this post.

I really loved it though, shout out to my little sister for this shot. AMAZING.

I guess that wraps up my short trip to Ilocos. I kind of want to say more, but I have limited photos to share. So let's just end it with that.
