2015: April Favorites

This one's a bit late.
But there's more to this one, than being just late.
...and when I mean more, there's really MORE.

1. Star Wars: The Force Awakens Official Teaser #2

HOW TO EVEN BREATH WITHIN THAT 1:59?!

I remember it so clearly, it was one fine morning. I gave my little Loki his breakfast, then comes this youtube alert about the new trailer, and I WAS JUST BREATHLESS. BREATHLESS. It looked so amazing. It was definitely the perfect teaser trailer for what is yet to come.

The new Stormtroopers looks so sleek. I squealed. Then there was the mother-fudgin' CHROMEtrooper which I had to pause to really, really have a good look and confirm that I am not seeing hallucinations. BB8 looks so cute! GRAWRRR. And he's not even computer generated, he's real. HE IS REAL. MOVIE MAGIC EVERYONE... MOVIE MAGIC. Han and Chewy in the end puts the cherry on top of it all.

It is definitely gave the WARS in Star Wars. I'm seriously excited. I can't wait to watch it. I guess I'll be watching the trailer a billion times more, but it's okay. I can survive with that... for now.

2. Pink Lemonade

Since it's the summer... the weather had been uncooperative lately. I've been sweating so much, each and every waking day the past month. And all I can count on are some hacks to make my body feel cooler in this kind of shit weather.

That's how my love affair with a drink called Pink Lemonade started. I hate the color pink. Never really liked it. Ever. I have a pink mouse, and I hate it. But it works for me, so I guess it's fine. Pink Lemonade worked for me this month, and it is mighty fine. I drink it almost everyday. I blame my mom for buying a huge tub of the thing. It helped me get rid of my soda drinking habit(sort of), and well it just tastes so fucking good during a hot summer day... which is like everyday.

3. Autumn Breeze Fragrance Oil

If you keep a pet dog in your room, it tends to smell. Especially that time where his weeweepad is at it's last draw... it could like like wee or poo. So I tend to always clean up my floor, wipe of pee stains, open the windows to let the smell get out, and all that jazz. But it ain't that simple. Because it will always smell as long as the little boy is in the room with you.

I have this habit I developed a year ago when I went to Mona's house to stay the night because we have this project for work. And she showed me this Lavander oil, and how she uses it whenever she goes to her bathroom. And that started my growing love for fragrance oils. My dad being the uptight gentleman he is, hates it. He hates lighting up candles for it could burn down the whole house. So I decided to buy an electric oil burner. Which was nice, but I kind of grew tired of it, for the reason that I hate waiting. So I went back again to the classic oil burner method with a tea light candle involved.

Whilst going around the department store, I spotted the scent Autumn Breeze. It's curious. How can you sum up a scent of something that is only a memory? Well it proved me wrong. It really smelled of Autumn. I love Autumn. So it's really fitting for me to purchase it. And I'm obsessed. It only took 2 drops for it to release its full smell potential. I've been using it every single day at night, whenever I browse the interwebs, and currently I now accumulated half the bottle.

Reminder to future Laline. purchase the Cotton scent when you get back. It smelled nice as well.

4. My Blue Journal

A past favorite. Not going to say much about it. It's just that it helped me so much whenever I felt like going back on track. It kept me leveled. And also it's a trusty baby whenever I want to jot down my thoughts as well.

Also, it has the record of movies I have watched every month. Which is aweeeesome.

5. Wantfeed

Ever since high school, I have been buying some of my precious stuff online(e.g. Arashi, Japanese Magazines, and a little bit of NewS.). Recently, since I'm forced to save up and limit my online purchase privileges one item per month, I have this constant need to jot them down and label them according to the how much do I need them, and do I really have to buy them.

A few months ago, I started following this Youtube Family, the Michalaks. And recently they've been talking about this website Steff made. WANTFEED. And naturally, I got a bit curious, which resulted to my comfort. It was what I needed. With my growing list of future online purchases, its the right place to put those stuff in.

It bookmarks the links of the things I want, and keeps em' for me without me being all crazy over analyzing each and every one of them for they can be categorized and tagged.

6. This Person's April Spread on the BTS Calendar.

I have nothing to say, I just like him so much. It's not healthy.

7.  This Ridiculous Looking Color Streak of Hair

Since I'm bored, and my sister wants her hair purple. I joined in the fun and decide to dye my hair blue. But since I'm trying to save, and money is tight, we opted for the generic hair dyes that could be bought in this specific store. I got us some bleach, chemical to make the color stick, and the colors we needed. And it didn't turn out as good as expected. And I was stuck with a vague grey-blonde ish color. I loved it, it was different. And not that obvious, for it was hidden at the back of my head, and covered by the top layer of my hair.

I loved it more when Seokjin released a photo of his new hair color which is like the streaks of my failed attempt to have blue hair. So it was a win-win. Haha... I need a life.

8. This Person.

Because I like him. A LOT.
