Done Watching, 2017: July

Friday, August 11, 2017

It's a month of just web dramas and a few movies for me.
The presence of drama drought is real, folks!

Now here is everything I watched for the month of July:

Oh, high school love. Such an innocent, pretty, and sometimes heartbreaking thing. And Seventeen just gave us that. Though the run time is short and waiting for each episode to be uploaded twice a week felt like hell - everything was worth it.

Not gonna lie, I only watched this because of Mackenyu. Never really treated it as something to be so serious about since Honda is involved. But it felt interesting at times, but mostly it just fell on my too-creepy-and-sometimes-too-out-there scale.

I watched this not really expecting anything since the lead idol guy just sucks at acting, thank goodness his partner, the lead girl is cute and decent enough to actually make me finish this. The overall story is cute and revolve and plays around with "Wednesday 3:30PM" concept. So if you have enough patience to witness one of the worst acting an idol could do but is on board with all the fluffy feels, try this one out!

The food shots were pleasing to the eyes, no doubt about that. But after watching the whole thing you come to the realization that everything felt orchestrated in order to be poetic in a sense. It could've been shorter, but it's actually not that bad.

This felt like a tacky reality tv show rather than a documentary, a waste of time. I don't even know why people recommended this.

I only watched this for Hyungwon. There's nothing much to it than greasy comedy from a try hard actor and other characters. Thank goodness Hyungwon wasn't that bad - but I felt like I need more. But then again, I can't really demand so much since this is a series made for foreigners who want to learn more about speaking Korean, so...

I watched this at around 2AM whilst on my period - and it wasn't  pretty, but in a good way. My feelings were all over the place. Short, no unnecessary plot points, normal yet made me feel like trash after, would recommend!

Such a quirky interesting life Iris had been living. I was surprised I did not get bored at all with this one. It was just the right amount of everything that I ended up smiling all throughout. A must watch for collectors and fashion enthusiasts.
