2015: October | Draft Archive
Thursday, December 31, 2015It's that time again where I talk about things I loved,
and what mattered to me the most for the month of October.
Here's my October 2015 favorites:
October passed by so fast, I only realized that I wasn't able to do a favorites post in the middle of November. And then I got lazy, which explains why I'm cramming this entry for the sake of making an October Favorites entry. But in reality, this is just what happened during my birthday week, because things happened.

And then I got lazy, which explains why I'm cramming this entry for the sake of making an October Favorites entry. But in reality, this is just what happened during my birthday week, because things happened.
I turned a year older last October. And in my my silly attempt to be bad-ass(but not really), I ventured out of my usual dinner dates and got a little physical.
It was the morning of my birthday weekend. I knew that I needed to do something kind of extreme, but still in the safe zone. So I climbed. It's refreshing and satisfying. Like if given all the time in the world, and less of my body being a baby about aches, I could climb each and every day of my life.

Things took a turn that night, for I was faced with a race track and karts. My dad never liked me driving. He never let me drive even if I passed my lessons and obtained my license. But I guess, being 23 gave me that little liberating move of actually doing something I've been wanting to do for a long time now. And that is to drive with all my heart's content. The setting was perfect. We were the only ones(to be exact three of us) using the track that night. And trashing competition out of the picture, we were left in our own worlds. And I loved that. Free from the chaos that is Metro Manila traffic. It was a perfect avenue to think back and just drive away.
Then there was my actual birthday. Where I got rid of the number 2, and welcomed number 3. I got a Star Wars themed cupcakes on that day. I'm beyond grateful towards the people that made that day amazing for me. I was struggling, and I still am to this day. But these people took their time and surprised me. And I have no words, but thank you.
