SEVENTEEN (세븐틴): Love & Letter Repackage Album Special Limited Edition
Tuesday, June 06, 2017I find it always sweet reading the words "Special Limited Edition" in any K-POP merchandise I own, and Seventeen hit that right spot. One thing, that should be made clear though - this album is not mine - it's my sister's.
This is not a sponsored post.
We actually had this for a while now, but I only got the time to now properly look at it and take some photos. I do believe that this repackage was released around this time of last year, so it's actually just the right time for me to put this out.
Recalling the past purchases my sister had made for Seventeen stuff - it always has that cute and simple vibe which is fun and refreshing for the eyes and senses (maybe? I don't really know what I'm saying but you'll know what I mean eventually.)
If you're very organized with your albums, this is a good investment as everything fits in one cute Seventeen colored box, which includes the following:
1. 152 - page booklet with CD (includes 15 tracks)
2. 3 Random Photocards
3. 1 Official Poster
4. 2 Stickers
5. 2 Live DVDs of their Like Seventeen - Boys Wish Concert, with encore and making.
6. 140-page concert making photo book of their Like Seventeen - Boys Wish Concert
Apart from being kept in a box, the album itself is protected with a cute box sleeve as well. As another photo book aside from the Like Seventeen that is also included with the album, I feel like the whole thing just so proves that it is worth your money.
The whole thing reminds me of those hard bound storybooks I owned way back when I was still a kid. There are like chapters/concepts for each group. Which is also cute, and since I'm biased... of course my favorite one is the first from the group and the one that features Wonwoo (yes, I like Wonwoo.)
Speaking of biases, let's not forget this boy:
The photos are so candid and precious, I feel like they really had fun during the shoot. More of just being themselves, which I've always liked when it comes to Seventeen shoots as a whole.
Just imagine them showing of these albums/photos to their future children! So nice, very nice.
Keeping up with the whole fresh summer theme, I would have to commend that the CD itself looks so pretty as well!
As for my favorite track from this album - it would probably be Healing. It was released at just at the right time where I needed a gentle reminder that at the end of the day may it be bad one thing is for sure - you did a great job.
But let's be real, the whole album is awesome - I loved every track.
Three photocards in one album... I don't know for you, but that's a bargain for me. I don't really mind them usually - unless if I got my bias, you'll spot me crying in a corner mumbling "It's meant to be."
My sister never really opened the official poster that came with this album, and we have tons of unrolled posters from every K-POP group we followed. But I do believe it's just the same as the album cover as well.
The consistency in colors is just on point - just look at how pretty that looks! (I had to go a bit art-sy with the photo and play with the shadows. But ya'll know what I mean.)
To that person who planned this, you are awesome. I want to meet you. Please have dinner with me.
Concert-related photos will always have the special room in my heart, as I always treat them as a very memorable gathering of somesort. But before I proceed with whatever point I'm trying to make, let's appreciate how good Wonwoo looks in this photo:
Like are you for real? Are you kidding me? How is that even possible? Just look at him! HOW?! (/¯◡ ‿ ◡)/¯ ~ ┻━┻
Moving on, I just really, really, really liked how everything was documented, making it all the more special. Preserving such a special memory not only for the boys but for the fans who continue to love and support them as well.

My sister got her album from the Seventeen Philippines Group Order.
